Should I Seed My Lawn in the Spring?

Posted by AllGreen on April 24, 2016

A Healthy Lawn Need FertilizationSeeding is not recommended in the spring as results are often poor, especially after pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control is applied. No seed will germinate. Cold soil and possible freezing temperatures all contribute to disappointing results.

We do recommend determining if Slice Seeding is necessary come the fall.

Slice Seeding more efficiently slices and inserts grass seed into continuous grooves within the soil. The soil temperature is perfectly warm, coupled with cool nights, providing superior germination.
